Client Objectives

The clients wanted to repurpose a space within their venue, previously occupied by a liquor store, into an additional gaming room with access to outside air. This conversion gave the client the opportunity to turn underused real estate into a better experience for patrons, while also capitalising on a greater return on investment through the change of use.

Scope of Work

The fitout involved a lot of moving parts. Significant demolition was required to the existing structure, and removing it demanded considerable labour due to the specialised temperature control the space had previously required as a liquor store. The project involved extensive collaboration with mechanical engineers, electrical trades, and audio visual contractors, to deliver a space that was both healthy for patrons and enjoyable to spend time in. New bathroom facilities were also added to accommodate the venue’s increased patron capacity.

Achievements

This project gave patrons a new experience within the venue, while providing the client with a space that now delivers a far greater return on investment from that section of real estate.
